Personal Development Coaching for Midlife

Open up your thinking, unlock your life.

Open Door Thinking

You’re not broken, you just need a new way of thinking.

If you’re here, I’m guessing you’re a woman in midlife who has lost her identity and her direction thanks to the curved balls life has thrown at you over the years (and if you’re not, I think you may be in the wrong place, sorry).

Midlife is tough.

I get it, I’m going through it with you – you can read my story here.

The kids are getting older and don’t need you in the same way as they used to. They may have left the nest or be about to. You’re trying to manage not being needed with worrying about what on earth they are up to out of your sight and reach. You need to find out who you are now that you’re not running around after them all the time.

The kids are getting older and don’t need you in the same way as they used to. They may have left the nest or be about to. You’re trying to manage not being needed with worrying about what on earth they are up to out of your sight and reach. You need to find out who you are now that you’re not running around after them all the time.

Open Door Thinking

Your parents are either no longer with you or are ailing and aging, meaning that your role as daughter has changed.

You may be a carer now, or at least in charge of all the medical, financial or domestic stuff for the people who cared for you.

It’s hard and heartbreaking. You need to find a way through.

You may be in a job in which you’ve seen it all before and can’t help thinking it’s all going round in circles whilst the keen young things look at you as if you’re a dinosaur with nothing to offer. You might feel like you’re wearing an invisibility cloak most of the time. You need to find your voice and find your place in the world.

And then there’s the hormones: the lack of sleep, the more persistent battle with your weight, an emerging battle with your health, incandescent rages, unannounced tears, overwhelm, Mind Monkeys, brain fog, perimenopause, menopause…need I go on? You need to rediscover who you are – or redefine who you’re going to be.

These are all doors either slamming in your face or requiring a new key that you can’t quite remember where to find.

All leaving you wondering, just who on earth you are anymore, feeling lost and lacking in confidence.

Time for a new way of thinking.

With a few adjustments here and there, midlife can be a wonderful time of reinvention and freedom. You’re going into a period of more time for you, no longer needing to care what other’s think and at a time when our generation are standing up and being counted more than ever before.

You need some space and time to work out who you are and what you want. You need someone who will listen without judgement but who understands how you feel. You need someone who will support you to stay on track.

I know it’s hard to believe right now, but the best of your life really is yet to come. You can be whoever you want to be. You just need a new keyring, some new keys to open up the doors to some new ways of thinking with Personal Development Coaching.

You’re in the right place. I’ve got you. You’re going to be just fine
